By scheduling, authorizing, or receiving services from Fuzzy Wuzzy Rug Cleaning Company (‘we,’ ‘us,’ or ‘our’), you (‘Customer’) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Services
Fuzzy Wuzzy Rug Cleaning Company provides professional rug cleaning, pickup, delivery, and related services. The specific services to be performed will be agreed upon at the time of scheduling or drop-off. We reserve the right to decline any item we determine cannot be safely or effectively cleaned.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Estimates provided before cleaning are based on the visible condition of the rug at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if:
- The rug requires additional treatments not apparent during initial inspection.
- Hidden damage, excessive soiling, or special materials are discovered during cleaning.
- The customer requests additional services.
We will contact you for approval before performing any work that significantly exceeds the original estimate.
3. Pre-Existing Damage
We take care to inspect each rug upon receipt and will note any pre-existing conditions (such as fading, worn fibers, loose fringe, tears, or staining) before cleaning begins. We are not responsible for damage that results from pre-existing conditions or defects that were present prior to our handling of the rug. Customers are encouraged to disclose any known issues with their rugs at the time of drop-off or pickup.
4. Cleaning Results
While we use professional-grade equipment and methods, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains, odors, or damage. Results depend on the type of rug, fiber content, age, and nature of the staining or soiling. We will make every reasonable effort to achieve the best possible outcome.
5. Pickup and Delivery
For customers using our pickup and delivery service:
- Scheduled pickup and delivery windows are estimates and may vary due to traffic or other factors.
- Customers or an authorized adult must be present at the time of pickup and delivery.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control.
Delivery fees, if applicable, will be communicated at the time of scheduling.
6. Storage
Rugs left at our facility for more than 30 days after the customer has been notified of completion may be subject to a storage fee. We will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer before any fees are applied. Rugs unclaimed after 90 days may be disposed of or donated at our discretion, with prior written notice to the customer.
7. Payment
Payment is due upon pickup or delivery of the completed rug. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards. Returned checks are subject to a returned check fee. We reserve the right to hold rugs until payment in full has been received.
8. Liability Limitation
In the unlikely event that a rug is damaged while in our care, our liability is limited to the lesser of:
- The actual repair or replacement cost of the rug.
- Ten times (10x) the cost of the cleaning service performed.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. We strongly encourage customers to inform us of the approximate value of any antique, heirloom, or high value rugs prior to service.
9. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, the customer confirms that:
- They are the owner of the rug, or have authorization from the owner to have it cleaned.
- Any known hazards or conditions (such as chemical treatments, pest infestations, or structural damage) have been disclosed.
- Contact information provided is accurate and up to date.
10. Disputes and Complaints
If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your rug. We will work in good faith to resolve any concerns. Our goal is your complete satisfaction.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website at fuzzywuzzyrug.com. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising from our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of King County, Washington. By using our website or scheduling our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
